1. General conditions
You are responsible for keeping yourself updated about the terms and conditions at any time.
You have to be at least 16 years old to use our services. By using Elis Laundry Service & Dry Cleaning, you confirm that you are at least 16 years old.
Elis Laundry Service & Dry Cleaning is an App you can use for ordering laundry and dry-cleaning of your private garments via your place of work.
2. Payment
You can use your registered payment card to make payments to Elis.
You are responsible for the accuracy of the payment information. If the payment information is no longer valid due to the expiry or cancellation of your card, you will receive information about the lack of payment and be asked to register a new, valid payment card.
The payment will always be effectuated after the textiles are returned to the agreed place of delivery.
We accept the following payment cards:
- Visa
- Visa Electron
- MasterCard
Every time you place an order for the dry-cleaning or washing of your garments through the Elis Laundry Service & Dry Cleaning App, and through this initiate payment, we reserve DKK 1 on the payment card you have registered in order to make sure that the payment can be effectuated. We repay the amount afterwards when the order is completed and we charge the full amount.
Once you have confirmed your order, we send you an order confirmation via e-mail.
If we have to send you a payment notice, for instance if the card has been cancelled, we charge an invoicing fee in addition to the current prices.
Security
We encrypt all payment and card information using an SSL (Secure Socket Layer) protocol, rendering the information illegible and inaccessible to all unauthorized persons.
3. Deactivating your account
You can deactivate your account at any time and change your payment information. This means that we do not make any charges to your payment card until you place a new order from an active account.
4. The prices
The App always shows the current prices. You are responsible for keeping updated on the current prices. The price list shows the prices per item and per kilo.
All prices include VAT. For services charged per kilo, we weigh the textiles upon receipt at the laundry.
5. Right of cancellation
You have the right to cancel your order within 14 days. However, you cannot cancel your order if the laundry and dry-cleaning services you have ordered are completed, if these are completed before the expiry of the 14-days cancellation period.
If you cancel your order after we have started to wash and dry-clean your order with your consent, you will have to pay reasonable costs for the part of the washing and dry-cleaning we have already done at the time of your cancellation of your order.
The cancellation period starts the day on which the agreement is entered.

6. Complaints
If you have any complaints regarding your laundry or the dry-cleaning services, please contact our customer services immediately – or within a reasonable time of receipt of your garments and textiles – at dk-vaskogrens@elis.com or telephone number +45 35 85 32 83.
We ask that you always send complaints regarding damaged textiles for our review, so that we can inspect the damage and either repair the textiles or provide economic compensation.
Even if we have not removed all stains, you will have to pay the full price for the service, as some stains cannot be removed without damaging the textiles.
We cannot guarantee against colour transfer, lost or damaged buttons, buckles, belts, sequins, beading, etc., as long as the textiles have been handled according to the care label. If you send in textiles unsuitable for washing and drying, you do so at your own risk.
It is a requirement that your complaint is legitimate and that the damage is not due to the incorrect use of the product or otherwise damaging behaviour. We also do not cover any damage and wear and tear caused directly or indirectly by your lack of carefulness and care for the products.
Our returns policy
– We refund a maximum of 10 times the price for cleaning/washing of each product.
– We assess each complaint individually and the assessment is based on the age/condition of each item.
f we cannot come to an agreement regarding a complaint, you may file a complaint with the Danish Centre for Complaints (Center for Klageløsning) at the address: Toldboden 2, 8800 Viborg, if the criteria for filing a complaint are met (see www.forbrug.dk in this respect). You can also use the European Commission’s online complaints portal for filing your complaint. This is particularly relevant if you are a consumer residing in another EU member state. The agreement between you and Elis Danmark A/S, including these Terms & Conditions, is governed by Danish law, unless otherwise determined by the mandatory rules of the country in which the consumer resides.
7. Theft
In case of theft, or damage by fire or water to our property, any lost or damaged items are covered by your own insurance company pursuant to the general rules of the individual insurance company.
Items stolen from our vehicles are covered by Elis’s insurance company.
8. Delivery
We set the time of delivery individually for each customer. These delivery times may vary due to public holidays and holiday periods.
Please note that the delivery times may be longer for: Skin, leather, rugs and fur.
Collection/delivery has taken place when we have collected/delivered the textiles at the agreed place. The textiles are your responsibility until we have collected them. The textiles are your responsibility as well as soon as we have delivered them to the agreed place.
9. Consent and confirmation
When you create an account, we send confirmation to the e-mail address you have provided.
10. Liability waiver
In no circumstances do we have any liability to you for any loss of profit, operating losses or other indirect losses.
11. Labelling
We reserve the right to label all collected textiles with a 12 by 12 millimetre QR code. We always place this label on the inside of each item in order to make it less visible. When the textiles are returned to you, you can remove the label. The label makes it possible for us to see to whom the textiles belong.
